Glenn Hall, Editor-in-Chief, TheStreet.com
Glenn was in our very first class, coming from Ohio State Univ. in the Fall of 1989 and interning at The Wall Street Journal. He began his career after his Politics & Journalism Semester as the environment and health care reporter at The Journal-Gazette in Fort Wayne, Indiana and went on to become the newspaper's first full-time investigative reporter. He then worked for Bloomberg News in Frankfurt, Germany and was promoted to bureau chief in Amsterdam. In 2002, after 8 years in Europe, Glenn joined the DC bureau of Bloomberg and led Bloomberg's politics and government coverage during the 2004 presidential election. He was later a senior editor at the Orange County (CA) Register, and is now editor-in-chief of the influential Wall Street web publication, TheStreet.com, applying all the journalistic ethics and practices he learned to provide honest coverage of the business world.
Holly Bailey, Yahoo News senior political writer
Holly was in our Winter/Spring 1997 Class. Coming to Washington from the Univ. of Oklahoma as a second semester junior, she interned at the Chicago Tribune during her Politics & Journalism Semester. After studying journalism at OU, in 1999 she began work as an investigative reporter for the Center for Responsive Politics in Washington. In April 2003, she joined Newsweek's Washington bureau and by 2008 had worked her way up to covering the presidential campaign and then became Newsweek's White House correspondent until November 2009. She is now on the Yahoo News team as a senior politics reporter for the site's politics and national affairs blog, The Newsroom
